What are your terms and conditions?
In general the following terms and conditions will apply (On occasion there may be exceptions, but these will be exceptional).
To qualify to apply you must:

Be between the ages of seventeen and thirty
-
Apply as an individual or a structed group
-
Have permanent residence within the designated area (see list of parishes covered).
To succeed in your application for a grant you must:

Submit a written application form completed in accordance with the guidance sheet
-
Attend an interview to explain and justify your proposal
-
Demonstrate not only merit of the plan but financial need so that limited funds are spent to best advantage

Grants are not awarded for gap years unless there is proven benefit for others or real educational value
Successful applicants will be required to:

Sign a receipt for the grant award
-
Spend the value within a designated period, usually six months but may be less or greater
-
Submit proof of expenditure for the purposes of the grant
-
Should the grants not be spent either within the time scale (justified time extensions allowed) or for the approved purposes the value of the grant must be returned.
